The basic timeline for this site is that it is set in season 11, which means that any character that you create must be the age that they would be in that season.
That is really the only thing to keep in mind when writing, as you can do whatever you want, and you don;'t have to follow the actual timeline or sequence of events that the show did if you don't want to!
