Looking at her, guessing that he had probably upset her with what he said, Ray said,

"I'm sorry, I just...well, I haven't seen them in a while and the last girl I brought home was Jen before..."

He waved his had in the air, not knowing if saying before when we were engaged and they were so happy I was settling down but then we broke it off would go down so well, so he finished,

"So I don't know what they would do...I mean, my mom can be really over the top about relationships" He added with a soft laugh.

"Go on, it'll be fun", he didn't even know why he was saying it. The thought of being caught in her parents room trying to shut their alarm off was too weird to even imagine. He just loved to tease her.
